The kdScore™ for each Investigator encapsulates an investigator's expertise within a disease area by weighting roughly 30 different factors across 7 different data sources:
The algorithm accounts for volume of trials, recency of activity, times cited, study type, and inspection deficiencies among other factors, while also minimizing reporting biases. Investigators are ranked against each other on both their overall experience and their expertise within a disease, yielding a kdScore between 1 and 100. Investigators with the greatest level of experience and the most significant influence in the selected field will have kdScore that approaches 100. Looking to filter your list further? The Overall Portfolio filter box allows you to filter the stage and size of the sponsor.
Clinical Stage refers to the maximum phase that the sponsor has initiated.
The Number of Clinical Trials sliders allows you to filter on the overall size of the sponsor by number of projects. Move the slider left or right, or type in a specific value in the number boxes. Toggle between Active (Not yet recruiting, Recruiting, and Active not recruiting) or Last 5 Years for trials started in the last 5 years.
Note: The filters in this box apply to the overall size of the sponsor and operate independently of the Clinical Trials Counts box which runs a separate count of trials.
The Clinical Trials Counts box allows you to filter more specifically on the sponsor’s pipeline. Select a Phase, Status, Disease, or all three, and the results will return a list ranked by the number of trials that meet your criteria.
Note: The filters in this box operate independently of the Number of Clinical Trials slider in the Overall Portfolio box.
